Spin Hall Induced Magnetization Dynamics in Multiferroic Tunnel Junction

The combination of spin-orbit coupling driven effects and multiferroic tunneling properties is explored experimentally in thin Pt/Co/BaTiO3(BTO)/La2/3Sr1/3MnO3(LSMO) multilayers. presence a Pt heavy metal allows for the spin current-induced magnetization precession Co upon radio-frequency charge current injection. utilization BTO ferroelectric tunnel barrier separating LSMO ferromagnetic electrodes gives rise to both tunneling- magnetoresistance electroresistance. Using torque resonance, dynamics Co/Pt bilayers studied at room temperature. Unexpectedly, study same geometry performed low temperature reveals existence resonance peaks indicating efficient generation using Hall effect pumping that via barrier.
